Mrs. Langston....before she got all married and stuff!
Mrs. Langston graduated in April 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Though she wouldn't label her collegiate years as "the best of her life," she acknowledges that they are what helped to bring her to where she is today! She married the love of her life, Adam, on September 19, 2009, and they live happily together just outside of Vilas, NC with their two dogs, Benny and Max. Adam & Jenna love the mountains and take the opportunity to experience nature whenever they can though walks, hiking, and driving slowly along the Blue Ridge Parkway (stopping at every outlook area, of course!).
Jenna loved history from a young age, and even had posters of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln hung on her bedroom walls when she was in 2nd grade; her mom's friends all said, "That's not normal!". She continued to love history all throughout her adolesecent and teenage years (especially United States state and presidential history) and got interested in politics in the 2000 election when she was only 11 years old. Now she enjoys keeping up on current events and listening to talk radio to get the scoop on what's going on locally and around the world. Jenna LOVES teaching the students at Watauga High School and wants to continue doing it for years to come!
